Hello!

My name is Tao and I'm an artist from the UK. I love fantasy, art and animals, and I run a small business called Whiskers and Witchcraft.

Having been home educated, I have been crafting my whole life and have alternated between 2D illustration and 3D crafts / sculpture since I was a child. I decided I wanted to have a career in art at the age of 10; this was a long endeavour, which involved me officially becoming a illustration freelancer at 15. I continued to do this until university, alternating between various jobs, education for drawing, sculpture, crafting (cosplays, decor and anything I could think of) as well as general freelancing, until I pivoted at University and went into digital modelling. This was a huge turning point for me, as it established the confidence I needed to realise that no program or machine was in any way beyond my understanding.
I am so passionate about this, and so so honoured and excited to be able to have a platform to share my creations; and even moreso to see the joy it brings. It couldn't mean more, and I thank you - all of you - for engaging with what I create. It still blows my mind that people remember me, my work, and even recognize my art in person! That is the most insane thing and it hasn't stopped feeling real even nearly 3 years down the line.

W&W and your respective support has enabled me to develop my skills so much further than I thought possible, and now my craft workshop (already a lifelong dream come true) has got 3D printers - resin work - laser cutters - foiling machines - and a well loved craft desk, which has been with me through it all.
